Rehab is a set of programs or services equipped to deal with alcohol or drug addiction. Some offer short-term treatments while others require a much longer commitment. This can be in an in-patient facility or at an out-patient clinic. Vicoprofen combines hydrocodone and ibuprofen in a prescription medication used to manage short-term acute pain. Misuse or abuse can lead to physical or psychological dependence. This can include taking Vicoprofen for longer than intended or in higher doses. Once a patient becomes reliant on the drug, some form of rehab treatment is advised. Some are faith-based while others rely on therapy or the 12-step model. First, we admit you to a Southern California hospital where you undergo medical tests to rule out any underlying conditions. Our procedure then takes place, using intravenous medication to cleanse the Vicoprofen from patients’ systems. It takes less than two hours to complete this and patients rest comfortably under deep sedation during this time. The Waismann Method detox accelerates withdrawal symptoms which develop and pass while patients are anesthetized. Being able to essentially skip a painful withdrawal is integral to our patients’ success and longevity in the recovery process. Patients awake without the awareness they went through withdrawal. They are then monitored closely until medical staff OK’s a discharge. For most patients, the total hospital stay is 2 to 4 days. And that’s it unless you decide to extend your recovery at our Domus Retreat transitional living facility. Patients stay in private, luxurious suites and take part in holistic and therapeutic treatments for as long as they wish to stay.
