Table of Contents

Vicodin Rehab is not always a necessary step in order to resolve addiction

Vicodin is the combination of hydrocodone, a narcotic painkiller, and acetaminophen, a non-narcotic pain reliever. It’s used to relieve moderate to severe pain and can be addicting for those who take it for prolonged periods and for those who abuse it. Waismann Method’s opiate detox program offers a number of option for medical Vicodin detox that is safe, effective, discreet and humane. Our medical vicodin detoxification process, usually takes less than 2 to 4 days in the hospital and some additional days at our licensed recovery center, Domus Retreat.
The Waismann Method of rapid detox recognizes opiate dependence as a central nervous system disorder caused by continuous opiate intake. Many other traditional vicodin rehab facilities viewaddiction as a psychological disorder, or even as a result of personal weakness. We have seen many cases of unaddressed psychiatric issues, or misguided pain management has lead some people to self-medicate. Through an individualized assessment, we can identify the underlying issues and properly create a treatment that offers relieve and success.

A Painful Withdrawal is Not Necessary for Success

Our in-hospital anesthesia assisted rapid detox procedure, happens while patients sleep lightly under sedation for a short time. When they awake, they have no awareness that they experienced an accelerated withdrawal syndrome while they were under. This elimination of most withdrawal symptoms and physical cravings are the key to our success. Patients no longer have to fear the suffering and anguish of a painful withdrawal. The Waismann Method of rapid detox offers premiere Vicodin detox that’s based on medicine and science. Some vicodin rehabs base their programs on talk therapy, faith or the 12-step model. While these might work for some, most people need comprehensive medical treatment to get better. In addition to the 2 to 3 days in the hospital, our program requires  a few additional days to continue recovery at our Domus Retreat transitional facility. Here, you will be provided with  what’s needed to comfortably and  effectively transition you back to an opiate-free life while enjoying therapeutic services. These may include massage, biofeedback, counseling and access to a private chef who can address underlying nutritional needs.

Compassion is the Foundation of Waismann Method

We don’t make our patients feel guilty for their dependence upon Vicodin or other prescription narcotic painkillers. Waismann Method’s approach to Vicodin detox focuses on science and the mind-body connection . Our individualized programs don’t believe in a one-problem or one-solution approach. We assess each individual and provide an option to reverse patient’s physical opiate dependency, without unnecessary suffering, fear or shame. We want to get you back on your feet safely and quickly so you can return to your family, career and obligations. We know most people don’t have weeks or months to spend in rehab. Over the course of a few days  patients receive pre-testing to rule out underlying conditions, medical detox procedure and around-the-clock monitoring post-procedure. As always, our programs are completely discreet and we take every possible measure to protect your anonymity.
