The reason why I believe I started taking pain medication is because I wanted the "quick fix." Quickest way to be pain free or quickest way to feel good and eventually to quickest way to funtion period. The reason why pain med/ users dont come off the meds or deny they can't come off is because you figure out there is no quick fix to come off opiates.
